We have worked with David and The People Animators for some years now, delivering a number of Customer Service focused training days. We find David’s training days invaluable; the team are always excited to hear that we have one coming up, and look forward to attending the day. They come away feeling that they’ve had their knowledge and skills refreshed, they are re-motivated, and ready to put their new ideas and skills in to practice.

Some training courses are fun on the day, but fail to deliver anything once participants are back in the work place; The People Animators deliver real, practical solutions, tools and skill sets that we can absolutely see being implemented as soon as team members are back at their desks.

David takes time to understand the business, the environment we’re working in and the current market conditions, as well as any specific challenges facing us at the time of training. We discuss what we want the teams to learn and take away from the day, whether it be a broad set of skills, or something very specific that we are working on as a business. David uses pre-course questionnaires to gather specific examples from the delegates related to their roles, so that the training feels very personal and each delegate can relate to case studies presented. This also means that we can address real life problems, and delegates can take away practical solutions for something they might be experiencing there and then.

The training is delivered in a relaxed and inclusive style, which encourages everyone to participate. We find that even new team members feel confident enough to contribute and get involved; the relaxed training style in turn allows all delegates to relax and feel comfortable too. The language used is down to earth, no jargon, meaning that everyone can relate easily to themes and ideas being discussed. David is extremely knowledgeable, and is able to share that knowledge in a way that everyone can access. We cannot recommend The People Animators highly enough – you won’t be disappointed!

I just wanted to say thank you for sending me and my colleagues on this course, it was brilliant!

It was really interesting, and different to other courses I have been on. I really felt as though I got a lot out of it, and it was worth taking the time out to reflect on ones performance.

David was great and the things he taught us about managing the team, carrying out effective appraisals, and reaching personal and business goals was all very effective and made a lot of sense.

We were given a file which we can refer back to, and tools such as ‘SWOT analysis’ for example, to use prior to appraisals, to ensure that we are getting the best out of our teams.

I would definitely recommend that all Managers (both junior and senior) should go on this course, I certainly got a lot out of it, and I am really grateful that I was allowed the time out, to work on and build my Management skills.
